I am currently working on a real autobiography, but it is clear it needs a lot of work. So here is a short dirty version. The kind most people might actually read anyway. I was born to Thomas and Susan Seal on December 2, 1975 in Indianapolis, IN. I never did the math, "didn't really care I guess", but my wife was going through some old boxes of my mom's stuff and found their marriage certifacate. Turns out they were married just a few months before I was born. By a few I don't mean nine. By the time I was two my parents were devorced. The courts awarded custody to my mom and I lived with her until about the ninth grade. At that time the courts allowed me to decide which parent I wanted to live with and I went to live with my dad. He lived on the family farm. I attended Pendleton Heights where I was in the art club and ran track. Not a whole lot of stuff under my name in the yearbook. I took all the art classes they offered including photography and advanced photography. My senior year I was an art assistant. That was all they had left as far as the art program. I ran the 4x100 meter and 4x400 meter relays and did the pole vault in track. After high school I attended Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion Indiana. I got my B.S. in Art Studio dual emphasis on drawing illustration and computer graphic design. I ran track for a couple years there to. While at IWU I met my wife Amy (Heinzelman). We strarted dating and got married before my junior year. While I was attending IWU my mother got very sick from years of abusing alchohol. She passed away before my sophomore year. That was tough, but it really wasn't a supprise. I will talk more about that stuff in the long version I'm working on. After college I transfered my employment at the sears automotive center in Marion to the one in Saginaw, Michigan. My wife and I moved in with her parents who live in Bay City as a transition while trying to get started. The summer after we moved I did outdoor art fairs just about every weekend. That really didn' t work out for me. There are fees for getting into them and then there are extra costs like gas and hotels etc... I had to borrow the money to do it from my aunt Gloria who lives in Grand Rapids Michigan. After I paid my bills and paid for framing it just didn't work out. So I started looking for work as a graphic artist. Before I could really find anything I recieved an offer from the owner of a monument company in Caro, MI. He needed someone to etch scenes on granite headstones. I started off just doing the scenes and then moved into just working there full time actual running the equipment that sandblasts the gravestones. After a while I started doing the artwork for a few other monument companies and one of those companies eventually hired me away. Thats where I work now. I am also doing some freelance illustration through the Elance website. Amy and I now own our own home and have three beautiful children. Corban, Hannah, and Lillian. Hannah and Lillian are twins. My wife is just about to finish up with getting her teaching certification through Saginaw Valley State University. She is going to be an art teacher. That's it. Oh I like to spend time with my family, go to church on sunday, paint , fish, watch movies and build web sites. I also like to lift weights and run when my schedual permits. See...Quick and dirty.
